Paul, this is our opinion of course, but Wordpress is the absolute best platform for a blog. The support, features, ease-of-use and so much more make Wordpress the ideal choice for a blog. In fact, it’s not a bad choice for static websites either.

Thanks a lot for this post. It’s extremely informative. If you do not mind, I have a question; How do you deal with Spam in blog comments? I really hate it, It wastes my time and I hate dealing with it every day. Do you have any suggestions for what I can do to decrease the number of comment spam I get on my blog?
